again reading comprehension. i didn't say that. I was floored when we got him, ecstatic, i screamed from the mountaintops to the heavens.  i was so overjoyed i almost had a heart attack and died. Thats what i meant by one of the biggest supporters here. obviously there are not any who do not. reading comprehension dude.

Yea, but Gettis' inability to play is his injury.

AE and Pilares inabilities to play are their lack of performance.

 

gettis is at this point an unknown commodity. rookie season means very little. he's got to prove himself and hes going to be doing that fighting for a spot with pilares and AE....and the rest of the crowd.

 

i hope he can build on what he did his rookie year and i think he's got more potential than those other guys, but pitting him against lafell? c'mon....lafell is at least established. not quite feared, but respected and reliable. gettis is far from that. like i said, he's pretty much just an idea and a memory at this point.

With the return game locked down, the last WR spots will go to the best recievers… in that reguard. Pilares is a better WR than AE.

 

It could go either way. They could say they want the better (Pilares) or they could say they want the one with more potential (AE). People for whatever reasons just like the guy with more room/potential. Thats why teams always draft the rawer players over the more polished guys.

 

Considering Pilares comes back healthy, if we want a ST guy (gunner) then Pilares makes the team. If we want a guy to confuse defense on offense, AE makes the team. Who knows? I expect both of them to get cut. Thats my opinion. I dont care who makes it. Theres nothing special between those two guys.

But we've seen Gettis take over a game, have yet to see Lafell manage to be a game changer.

Take over a game? I've seen Gettis have 2 good games. One of those was just a single deep catch. Gettis has ability. But taking over games? No. LaFell catches a lot of 3rd down passes.
