Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton has taken some heavy criticism this week for his performance in final exams at Auburn, where Newton returned to finish his degree in social criminology. "Mr. Newton came into class for his finals, and the moment he struggled to find the correct answer, he put a towel over his head," one of his professors was quoted as saying. "It was unprofessional, not befitting of the culture we try to establish here at Auburn. It sent the message to everyone in the classroom that as soon as you can't remember what Durkheim thought about strain theory it's ok to check out behind a powerade rag or whatever that was and just sulk."
