Will be present at Bank of America Stadium this football season?

There are a lot of people on this board that fight for their team in words here but don't show up to support.

My question to you guys is if you don't come to support the team what's your reasoning?

There every game.....show up at 7AM to start the tailgating.

Tailgating is something I will be doing more of this year. Last year I showed up 30 minutes before kickoff and had to run up the ramp to get seated before the game started. Not fun at all

I'm at every game I can afford((3-5)sometimes all 8)).  Get there at about 9ish regardless of kickoff time.  Drink till an hour before the game so I can make sure I'm in the 1st row of section 232.  Yell at the players doing warmups, jaw with the oposing fans, get hushed up by security and then its time for the opening kick.  Been doing this (except for the drinking part) for 15 years.

I didn't miss a home game until 2006 when I moved to South Florida....went to almost every playoff game home and away and even went to the superbowl.....now I get to watch them when they come to Tampa...Miami...Jacksonville and I've made it to a couple games in Charlotte over the years.....I'm going to try and get up to Atlanta this year though....

I honestly get less out of the games that I attend....now I use the NFL rewind and it's awesome..I get to watch every game over and over....I'm a much better fan now because I understand more about what is really going on.  I would recommend NFL rewind to every REAL fan and it's CHEAP.....didn't know squat about it until another Huddler told me about it...much appreciated.

Now c'mon Rayzor, I don't think he was saying any of that.  I'm pretty sure, and I don't want to speak out of turn here, the post was probably aimed at local fans that don't show up to games.  It's evident at this current juncture of Panther history that Panther fan attendance is way down.  Most likely because of poor performance by the team, but down all the same.  It's a fair question to those in the area why they wont support the team the best way they can.

    • i think i go in the opposite direction of most. my ideal retirement is living in some old downtown area in a flat above some shop or something.  life out in the country was just something i got real tired of. My kids actually miss some of living out there, which i understand. that was where they grew up for the most part. 40 acres with a 2.5 acre pond. it was beautiful, but also way too much (and too expensive) for me to keep up with.
    • FLASHBACK: I remember back when ESPN was just starting--he was their anchor.  They used to show stuff like Rodeo and field hockey--I remember laughing when he went to a commercial mocking a cycling competition in Utah (or something similar--I made that up) and I laughed.  I told my dad, "We may have us a new anchor when we get back from commercial."  When they came back from commercial, Berman was looking very serious and he said, "Any comments by me do not reflect the views of ESPN....The men and women who cycle are dedicated athletes and we are honored to shine light on their sport." (Paraphrasing).  Dad laughed hysterically. My first memory of him--and that was like 1980.
    • Might not have a team without them. Although that probably applies to the Panthers, too.
