I heard a 49ers fan say he loved Kaepernick, but he would trade him for Cam any day on 610 this morning... loved hearing that. 

 

In general, it seems to me that the public opinion is turning in favor of Cam, people are getting over the whole "sCam" thing and starting to realize how incredibly talented he is.

Honestly there are only 8 teams in the NFL that wouldn't trade their QB for Newton right on the spot.

The 8 teams:

Saints

Falcons

Packers

Giants

Ravens

Steelers

Patriots

Broncos

two of them are in our own division.

Of the QB out of last years draft I honestly believe Russle Wilson was the best and had he been 6-7 inches taller we would be saying Luck and RG3 who? Wilson had everything you want to see in a QB with no weaknesses in his game outside of his height and that's why he dropped in the draft.

To note this I don't even like NC State

RD3 is Vick with a good arm but injury prone, and Luck is hard to gauge, of the few games I saw him play last year to me he seemed to not have any zip on the ball and was just average.

If they were only going to get Newton for one season I'd agree.

 

Now if they had to consider their starting QB for the  next 5-7 years then that list shrinks.

I saw a guy with a Falcons hat on in an Asheville restaurant the other day.  Is it weird my first instincts were to punch him in the face?

haha, i'm in asheville and work with a guy who is from alabama and is a falcons fan...i mentioned this post and he said he was in longhorn the other day with his falcons hat on.

Luck over Cam is a given....32 teams in the league would agree.....Cam is great but Luck will be HOF if he stays healthy and stays the course.

The Colts went 11-5 and lost to the Ravens in the playoffs.  Luck was the leader and led the team into the playoffs and lost to the eventual Superbowl Champions.  

 

The ONLY people who doubt that Luck is a HOF caliber QB are homers.  If the Panthers had the choice between Luck and Cam....they would have taken Luck.
