There gave been many great posts in this thread.

Sorry that i didn't feel the need to address them.

I have no thoughts that Shula will be great.

I share concern about his past short comings.

I also know that was a long time ago.

People change. Ya don't last in the NFL as long as he has, if he isn't getting better. If you listen to what has been said of Shula by his fellow coaches from the last several years (not just his time with the panthers) he is becoming a fast riser. It was only a matter of time before he got another shot.

Rather than worry about my concerns over long ago failures, im quietly hoping for his success.

Sewing on the past isn't going to make you anyore right or wrong. You're just taking the safest bet.
