Despite $90 Million investment, no Panthers RBs in NFL.com Top 30 RB list

I think Chud deserves the same amount of blame that Hurney does.

Carolina had a historical rush attack in 2011. RBs were just roleplayers then...it isn't a RB offense even when firing on cylinders.

As we know, Chud is a year wonder.

No excuses can be made for how cute he got with the Read Option. He neglected what made his rushing attack historic last year... the running backs. J-Stew, D-Will and Tolbert all hit career lows last year. Coincidence? I think not.

4 games out of 32....he got too cute with it. That sounds like other issues in addition. Read option isn't the answer to why we sucked last year.

How fast they forget we were the first team with (2) 1,000 yard rushers. Now suddenly neither is a top 30 RB in the league? What a joke.

It's a list of the current top running backs, not a list of top rushers for 4 or 5 years ago.

I know exactly what it is. My point is that they are top 30 running backs now too.

People don't make lists bc if ability, they make it bc of production on a field.

I could argue our most talented overall LB is Thomas Davis. Overall, most outside of Carolina would rank him 3rd here and nowhere on a national list

Lets say one or both snuck in the 20's somewhere. Nothing would be different in that the team has a problem with insanely overvaluing running backs.

Offensive lines make running games productive not stockpiles of running back salary or talent.
