Ginn wins the PR competition because he's more experienced. Don't think Barner will be active until the end of the season but I hope we don't give up on Joe Adams yet

I got Kenjon returning kicks and Ted as the punt returner.

Has anyone mentioned that Mike Mitchell is the guy that put the late hit on Cam in the Raiders game, that lead to Cam bumping the ref?

DT - You'd expect Edwards to retain his spot, and rightfully so.  He was a very good player for us last year.  I think the idea will be to have Short as part of the rotation, before becoming "the guy" in 2014. It's a good problem to have.

 

SS - Who knows.  I have a feeling it will be Campbell, but I sure wish we did more to address this position.

 

KR - Also think this is open.  Ginn should be the front-runner, but his contract is also very disposable, which gives Barner and Adams an outside chance.

Want to make a note that Gettleman said at the press conference that there will most likely ONE player returning both punts and kicks. It frees up a roster spot or something.

So i would expect Ginn for both duties.

Short, just because I love the kids potential. Dwans an excellent ut but I wanna see what the kid can do.

I loved Campbell last year and id like to at least see if he can do it again.

This one was probably the easiest for me. Ginns a probowl returner, Barner should be used out of the backfield for screens and such. Adams place on the team is dwindling.

dwan the "starter" at the beginning of the season, but that will change as the season goes on...not that it matters. there won't be a ton of difference in the amount of downs that star, short, dwan, and cole play. their going to be rotating that interior DL like crazy.

 

mitchell at SS just because he's got more experience. i don't think really anyone is going to stand out more than anyone else at SS, tho.

 

unless adams really stops lathering up his hands in crisco before he hits the field, we're probably going to see ginn and barner be the returners.

 

should be cap't, florence, and norman starting at CB (and i consider the nickel slot to be a starting gig just because of the number of reps they get).

 

i would also add in hangartner starting the season at RG for a while and then have kugzilla move into the starting gig.

 

i would like to see some more competition at RT. that's the spot that is really worrying me.
