The Dolphins need look no farther than their baseball brethren when they want to thanks someone. The Marlins swindled the people of Miami and the Dolphins are paying for it now...

 

Oh, and the Panthers own their stadium, too, and guess who's footing part of their renovation Tab?

LA Dolphins.   My mind is still blown how grubby handed these teams are wanting money for stadiums they own.

 

Well it's neo-conserv's pooping on them and the moderates and rich people hating dem's trying to appease them. Maybe you should rethink just who is benefiting from this. *hint hint its mostly minimum wage seasonal positions that will take the biggest blow, dolphin ownership, players, any1 making tons of money, will just move and get same concessions elsewhere.*

Between Raleigh saying no to the Panthers and Tallahassee saying no to the Dolphins, this could begin the slide of communities revolting against sports team owners, and who knows where this could lead. Maybe owners will have to foot more of the bills , but I think cities that want NFL teams will still have to pony up to a degree. Just wondering if a "coup" could take place and Charlotte could somehow grab one of the two Super Bowls that their talking about.

      Cam was hitting his stride as a QB in 2017/2018.     This is why I think stats like completion percentage are overrated. As long as a QB is clutch and makes the throws to win the game the rest doesn’t really matter. What good is a check down stat padder if they’re a choker.  Until Norv Turner (and briefly Chud) got here we put Cam in high pressure throwing situations all the time. We also ran the ball on first down more than most teams in the NFL in the Ron era. Coupled with shitty WRs, all that is expressed in his stats. I also assume Cam took the ball in his hands on many occasions rather than trust Funchess to catch the ball.    It was also never Cams job to play the game like someone else. His presence on the field dictated the game in a way that is rarely seen.  He showed he could play the dink and dunk game just before TJ Watt. That didn’t suddenly make him better than his earlier seasons. He just got put in a legit under center  passing game again for first time since his rookie year with Chud.    Ron took the quickest path to success and abused the RPO because his ass was about to get fired.    Cam never got the credit for being the cerebral player that he was. I just think when you are legitimately a human Superman, sometimes the best play is having the ball in your hands. He was a better passer than Delhomme was.

      I don't think Canales has any problem benching Bryce or moving on if Bryce doesn't come out playing like the end of last year.  It's year 3 no more excuses for Bryce

      Yea Bryce was definitely a top half qb the second half of last season but I'm not sure Canales is 100% sold on him.  Like I've said in another post I think that's part of why we talked to so many South Carolina players in the draft process.  I think they are doing early due diligence on Sellers just in case.
