Two former Panthers drafted to the UFL

RB LaBrandon Toefield, S Adam Archuleta and RB Chris Perry were among the former NFL players taken in Thursday night's NFL draft.

Special teams ace Gary Stills, QB Brooks Bollinger, DB Mike Doss, TE Jermaine Wiggings and WR Marcus Fitzgerald (Larry's brother) were also selected. Odds are these guys weren't going to get an NFL job this season anyway, so at least they're working.

The only way that a football league not named the NFL will succeed is to play it's games during the NFL's offseason when football fans like me are dying for some football!

yep...especially with what? a 6 game schedule? that's enough time to get yourself noticed. probably wouldn't be good for the teams, though. get into the season and then have your star player offered 3x what you can pay him to come play on the 2nd team somewhere.

Even though the XFL did fail, we did get the suspended camera angle. I think its pretty cool and I don't recall seeing it before the XFL used it.
