Out of those candidates I definitely want either Gentry or Sloan. I do not want McMillan at all though, because he's vastly overrated (never had a top 12 defense) and he would be a TERRIBLE fit for our roster.

My preference would be persuading Jerry Sloan to come here, a proven top notch head coach.

 

My second choice would be Nate McMillan, he's got a good record at Seattle and Portland. 

 

And Alvin Gentry would be my third choice, a close third for the record. 

 

Fingers crossed that whoever Jordan and co go for, that they get the right guy that can develop our players in the immediate future, and then in the near future push us on to become a competitive outfit. I'd like to see us get a long term head coach here in Charlotte, we really need one and not another short term guy.
