John Fox at the Pro-Am also (Charlotte Observer)

top dawg

Panthers fans showing some class, and some humor.  No Huddlers there, I bet.

“Everybody here in Charlotte’s been fantastic to me, you know,” Fox said. “When I was here and since I’ve come back, they’ve been nothing but great to me.”

“We still love you,” one patron yelled. “You had a great season and we’re so happy for you,” another said.

Just after the club hit the ball, a man seated in the gallery behind the tee box shouted one of Fox’s well-known clichés — “It is what it is!”

Fox paused, turned to the man, raised his arm and gave him a thumbs up.

Glad he's gone, but gotta love him.

Hope this 2013-2014 SB will be a Panthers vs. Denver matchup.

It'll mark a 10 yr anniversary of the last time the Panthers and John Fox was in the SB. This time around, Foxy will only be coaching against the Panthers. It would make headlines throughout Charlotte and Denver.

The SB is fixed. Bettis winning the SB in his hometown before retiring. Now, Ray won it in his last year also. Don't rule out a 10 yr anniversary of the Panthers and John Fox in the SB. Though, a man can only wish.

Yep, Peyton Manning has nothing to do with it.

The 2011 season with Te Bow??

And yea, Foxy had nothing to do with the success of that defense over there right???? Give the man the credit. You don't have to die hating him. We were the ones who parted way with him, not the other way around.

You forgot to add that Denver is in the AFC West. A division too easy to win.

They went 8-8 in 2011. That's a record good enough to miss the playoffs in the NFCS.

He did go to the playoffs and win a game with Tim "I'm out of the NFL" The Golden Calf of Bristol at QB,and with a team that had the previous year, been the second worst team in the NFL behind only Jimmy Clausen and company.

Yup, people seem to forget that he went and took over a bad team in the Denver Broncos. They were the 2nd worse right behind us in the 2010 season. Fans just like trashing what's not their's. Or once what was their's.

Fox didn't inherit an awful team in Denver. They had a lot of pieces and talent there. Just needed a QB.

No ill feelings for the guy from me. I'm not going to root for his team though.
