lemon cream or banana cream

 

not meringue.

 

for the lemon cream pie the citrus does something funky to the whipped topping when it sits out a while so make sure that you have the pie itself chilled really well and don't put on the whipped cream until right before serving. probably not a bad idea to do the same with the banana cream but it's not as crucial.
