Smith is 35 next year and  will be going into the last year of his contract. And we'll still be in cap hell so no big name FAs for us.

 

I'd be really surprised if we don't go WR in the first next year. Maybe even double dip if no one steps up this year. I'd love WR/CB or CB/WR though.

There are about 5 to 7 OT that are currently projected in round 1.  Matthews, Lewan and Kouandjio will be out of reach at this point (given the assumption that they dont fall and we dont really suck)  James Hurst and Chaz Green will get consideration although next year will probably WR and CB prospects all over the place.  We dont have a lot of picks next year so hopefully there will be a market for the 32nd pick in the first and we will get some good 2nd round value....

Exactly how will we not have a lot of picks? The only pick I am aware of that we lost was a 7th for Colin Jones trade fron SF otherwise we are set and more then likely we will get a pick back due to the loss of James Anderson.

Yea we didn't really lose anyone in FA. If we got no comp picks this year we certainly aren't gonna get any next year.
