I had a pretty similar reaction when we drafted him.

 

only phrase i could get out was "we got him!" and i kept saying it over and over.

 

i really didn't think we had a chance despite people saying days before that we might. i just knew someone was going to take him.

This is part of what I love about the draft. Seeing the pride and joy these players and their families feel knowing they made it to the league.

 

It looks like he has a very supportive family, good for him.

Yeah, it took a while for it to even sink in.  Everyone was busy talking about WRs leading up to the draft I think he just kinda' slipped to the back of everyone's mind since he seemed kinda like an unrealistic option.  Pretty sure he was easily just about every Panther fan's #1 prospect if he was available though.  Hell, I remember people talking about tanking the season just so we could get him lol.
