I have no idea whether Shula will be a great OC....but continuing to bash the guy with ZERO to support it is laughable as well.

best coach in the NFL....use to be that boob and joke that coached in Cleveland. He went to NE, he got talent....

You can say what you want about Shula but it is a talent driven league...and he didn't have it in Tampa.

in fairness....early DTs have a high bust rate. If you play the odds....we would be lucky if one of our 2 drafted DTs worked out.

I have no idea whether Shula will be a great OC....but continuing to bash the guy with ZERO to support it is laughable as well.

he's done nothing to prove me wrong or that he's gotten better than his previous failed attempts.

answer this...would he have gotten the job were it not for us wanting to just maintain what we were doing on offense? what evidence do you have that he can make things better or that we won't see a regression?

until i see more from him when the season starts, i have no reason to believe any different about him than i do now and i'm not going to just avoid stating my opinion of him when the subject comes up or when i see something that he and his proven deficencies might have a negative impact on.

btw...there's a whole lot more to support he's going to suck than not suck. he has no track record of success as an OC or an HC. only a QB coach, which is his only proven successful niche.

there is nothing more than wishful thinking and being liked by guys on the team to support that he won't suck once again.

It's beyond speculation at this point. To call someone a bust without playing a single down in the NFL is premature, to say the least.

all I am saying is you draft 2 early DTs....NFL history shows odds aren't good you hit on 2 at that spot.

The only "evidence" that you have is over a decade ago with a shitty TB team that had Shaun Freakin' King as the QB.

My philosophy....wait and see what he is actually going to do to make an "informed" evaluation.
