A little help please? (College Related)

I am currently a junior at Appalachian State and one of the final projects has me completely stumped! The class is Critical Perspectives on Teaching and Learning and the directions are as follows:

a. define/unpack the meaning of social justice as it relates to education;

b. connect to and build upon course questions, themes, and materials;

c. ground your analyses in well-articulated and clearly supported arguments;

d. explore a “living question” for you as it relates to your understanding of teaching and learning at this point in your life; and

e. examine issues from multiple perspectives.

I am thinking of either writing on bullying or racism... Do you think I am on the right track?

The professor uses the word "organic" a lot... Does that tell you anything? :sword:

Just frame the paper around how NCLB has created a system of rewarding a vicious cycle of social injustice. Education people eat that sh*t up.

And 'organic' usually indicates the presence of carbon.... that's all I know.

I would need to think about this but my 5 second reaction would be to compare social justice within education to social justice within society using examples.

Make the teacher = Hitler for extra credit
