just not sure why it matters...but as I mentioned before...good on him for having the courage to step forward...hopefully it makes it easier for others to follow. nobody here knows what I do in my spare time...would you think different of me if I told you????

Think about day to day conversations you have with co-workers, friends, associates. For example, "Hey what did you do this weekend." A closeted gay dude is not gonna be like, oh i went on a date with this great guy." He has to lie. That must suck. So he has to come out. Get it?

yes...I get it...I just don't see why it's such a big deal in today's day and age is all. If some dude I work with told me that, perhaps I'd be a little surprised if I didn't know, but I personally don't think it would make me think of him any differently.

whats funny is this. EVERYBODY already knows you're gay.

i had a co worker tell me once at an investor happy hour. he goes umm you do know im ga and i laugh and go i know man. he goes how? i go...ya just know.

if this was 1983 maybe its more earth shattering but with the exception of some baptist churches or Sids tire service, people/businesses go out of their way to reach the homosexual community.

i didn't bat an eye.

Because there are plenty of people who will persecute someone for being gay. If everyone were like you and didn't care then it wouldn't be a story

I have no issues with Jason Collins coming out.

I have many issues with this moron Chris Broussard and his comments:

"Personally, I don’t believe that you can live an openly homosexual lifestyle or an openly, like premarital sex between heterosexuals. If you’re openly living that type of lifestyle, then the Bible says you know them by their fruits. It says that, you know, that’s a sin. If you’re openly living in unrepentant sin, whatever it may be, not just homosexuality, whatever it maybe, I believe that’s walking in open rebellion to God and to Jesus Christ. So I would not characterize that person as a Christian because I don’t think the bible would characterize them as a Christian."

Way to go into full-blown, "I'm a Christian, therefore I can sit in judgment" mode, you idiot.
