It's not something that I would do, because it reall does not interest me in the least.

but Roosters will fight each other to the death even if you did nothing at all around them. They will even use that spur on their foot to puncture the eggs that would be be another rooster, they are mean sobs so I don't look at it the same as dog fighting, dogs aren't going to try and kill each other unless you train them too. So to me Rooster fighting not animal cruelty think of it more as an organized viewing of a roosters natural behavior .

Again not something I would do, 0 interest in watching it but there is a big difference between a rooster fight and dog fighting

you are mostly right, the rooster will do it as soon as they come of age. the only training they get is for fitness.

Normal farm roosters are no different than any other animal when trying to establish dominance. Every male animal battles to be the Alpha.

What is different about most organized cock fights are the add'l tools, blades, etc that are attached to the roosters feet.

Heck you can go to any farm and witness a cockfight. Growing up on a farm, they will also chase you or "spur" the heck out of your legs. Like was mentioned, some of them are pretty aggressive.

I mentioned the Philippines earlier. Kinda gruesome pics but you can see the blades toward the end.
