On A Scale From 1-10 How Certain Did You Feel The Jets Or Raiders Would Pick Star?

Jets fans dont know crap?

Well obviously considering they are Jets fans after a league leading historical ineptitude (rivaled by the lions).

In all seriousness Jets fans tend to be very obnoxious, loud mouthed, and unrealistic while Giants fans are generally casual fans or have good league wide knowledge (obviously this isn't true for all of them, just a generalization).

It shows in their geographical fanbase. The city is split about 50/50, Giants fan are much more prevalent up to the Albany area while Jets fans stretch down toward Jersey. Anything higher north and/or west is Buffalo territory.

50/50 on either happening. Star's a great talent and we're very fortunate for him to have made it all the way down to 14. But if ever there were two teams that really don't know what they're doing in the first round, it would be the Raiders and the Jets.

I was honestly more frightened that someone would trade up to #13 and take Star. In the back of my mind I could just imagine them announcing Atlanta had traded up to #13 and selected Star.

I pretty well knew Oakland wanted Hayden, so that wasn't a huge shock. The Jets I thought for sure would take him and we'd end up with Floyd. I still don't get the Richardson pick for the Jets; they've drafted 3-4 DE's two years in a row in the 1st round and need a nose tackle badly. Star would have fit perfectly what they do and need and yet they take a guy who projects as another DE in their scheme.

I just don't get it, though I'm damn sure not complaining about it!
