On A Scale From 1-10 How Certain Did You Feel The Jets Or Raiders Would Pick Star?

The Jets though? When that #13 pick came up, I was dead certain they were going to take him.

When I saw Sheldon Richardson's name come across the screen, my jaw dropped.

I'm still giddy that he fell to us. If not for that misdiagnosis he would have been a top 5 guy for sure.

I thought there was a good chance of us getting Star (as can be seen in Zod's Kenny Vacarro thread). The Raiders weren't a threat in my opinion, and to be honest I thought that the Jets were going to take Jarvis Jones with their first pick, and Milliner with their second pick. Once they took Milliner with their first, I assumed that they would take Shariff floyd at 13, but they went with Richardson (which wasn't an outrageous pick imo).

As I thought that if Star made it past the first five picks, he would be ours. I also said that I didn't see him being taken in the first five and asked who and why would they want star after that. The Cards were brought up, but But because a couple of other people thought there was a good chance Star would be gone I watched their pick with keen interest. Once they made their pick, I absolutely thought Star was falling to us. So to answer your question: Oakland 0, and Jets 2.

They did further testing, it was shown to be a misdiagnosis on a false reading. It's pretty common. We got the best DT in the draft at 14.

To be perfectly honest,I thought we had zero chance of getting Star with the 14th pick.Hopefully this is a sign the Panthers good fortunes are on an upward trend.

A ten, I thought he was gone, Jets were on the clock and I just dreadfully anticipated them drafting him, then the Commissioner said "Sheldon Richardson" I laughed my ass off, and yelled "STARRRRRRRRRRRRRR!"

This. I was telling myself "Well, if they take Lotulelei, we get Floyd. At least we didn't end up with Richardson."

And then they took Richardson. I laughed so hard, I made weewee.

9. I thought Star would be there first pick and Eifert @ 13. Once they went Milliner at 9, I thought Star was a lock at 13. Still can't believe he made it to us. I thought someone would have jumped up once the Jets passed on him at 9.

With the Jets, a 0 because well it's the Jets. lol

With the Raiders the word was either Floyd or Hayden so I didn't think they were taking him either.

I kinda stopped worry about it when the OL prediction starting coming true.
