Trey Diller- Sam Houston StateTrey Diller is a 6’2 200 lb. WR from Sam Houston State and a transfer from Wofford. Diller is a “must know” whether you are a draftnik or just a fan. Possessing the skills to make an impact at both WR and returner, Diller was a 2013 NFLPA Bowl All-Star invite last month- where ESPN draft guru Todd McShay said

of him he is “not one to look past”. Trey led the Southland Conference in all-purpose yardage as a senior, doubling as both WR and returner with 928 yards receiving (4 touchdowns) and another 882 yards as both kick/punt returner.

Yes...character concerns. Nothing to do with his abilities as a football player. You're telling me you wouldn't sign a guy as an UDFA or 6th rounder to potentially be a #1 receiver for this team?

correct, a player with character concerns needs a strong locker room to help. Carolina does not have that, yet. I think he could end up being more of a distraction then anything else.

How do you know Carolina doesn't have a strong locker room? There are plenty of vets everywhere on this roster and capable leaders. Ron Rivera is a no-nonsense coach that when brought in here was considered a "molder of men."

And if he becomes a distraction...you let him go with no harm done. High risk, high reward at little to no cost.
