I agree with PantherFaninMaine. He was a 5*, #1 player in Georgia out of high school, 1st team All SEC, didn't get along with a fired coach that rumor has it didn't get along with a lot of his players, and turned things around at Tennessee Tech. He even returned to UT for the spring game!

Huge upside with ZERO risk! Very frustrated.

Considered lazy on the field, in his routes and commitment to the play. Has failed multiple drug test.

Yeah must be Randy Moss!!! NO Risk what are we doing!?!??!??!

There are rumors that he not only failed drug tests, but may have been pushing them.

Wes Horton DE USC

Wes Horton, DE, USC

Height: 6-5. Weight: 260.

Projected 40 Time: 4.73.

Projected Round (2013): 5-7.

4/24/13: Horton recorded 33 tackles, 6.5 tackles for a loss, two pass breakups and 5.5 sacks in 2012. He missed the opener versus Hawaii. Horton played better in the second half of the year, but wasn't the breakout pass-rushing force who many expected. He had a solid week at the East-West Shrine, but didn't work out at the Combine.

8/27/12: Horton broke into the starting lineup as a sophomore in 2010. He recorded 29 tackles with four sacks and a forced fumble. The junior was relatively quiet last year, totaling 22 tackles, 4.5 tackles for a loss and four sacks.

Wes Horton DE USC

Solid pickup. He's an effort pass rusher who keeps working. Doesn't have the best physical tools, but fights to win his matchup. Won't make the final 53 with our plethora of DL, but will be a good player to develop on the PS.
