Rivera will save his job if:

(1) He reate a top 10 Defense with the pieces Gettleman just went out and got for him in "STAR" and "SHORT". Who wouldnt be able to?

(2) Utilize the talents he has on offense such as the "RUNNING BACKS". Rely on the running game to set up the passing game.

(3) Don't put the game on Cam's shoulder.

We had a top 10 defense by the end of last year. With Star and Short we may be looking at top 5. If our secondary plays better than they look on paper we could be top 2 or 3 with our new DT rotation, Beason healthy and a young secondary with more experience than they had last year.

Gotta admit you were right. We ended up taking 2 DTs which i didnt see coming. I have no problem eating crow, at the end of the day im all for improvement of the team. I know the other week i said that you would see how much they value the WR position in the draft and they went and addressed DT just like u said. So you were right in that regard, but im excited. We got two great players that should make our defense dominant. I will admit i wasnt to hyped about star before the draft but seeing the entire organization get behind the pick and direction, it got me stoked about it too. Cant wait for the season too start.
