How dumb of a pick would have Gettleman made if Star didn't fall into his lap?

Beyond short and star, no on will see the field beyond special teams and you think thats a great draft lmao.

Barner will see time on passing third downs as a scat back, he'll also probably get the majority of the option plays when that's ran as well.

Klein is a backup for all three LB spots and could see time if Beason or Davis get injured again. He'll likely be the SLB starter after a year when the team cuts Beason. Might also see time on goal line plays and short yardage situations as well.

Kugbila if they get him into the weight room and even his frame out is a good possibility to take Hangman's spot at RG. If he doesn't start he'll be the primary backup at RG and RT.

Star and Short will be starters to top it off.

How is that not a good draft?

I don't know half of you in this thread. See you next year.

Just look at the knee-jerk response to our draft picks and lack of knowledge & foresight on display by the array of turds on this forum, and you can understand why that is. If you want to see some interesting football discussion Carolina Huddle is the last place on earth to find it.

Come on... barner is not faster than deangelo or stewart. Not to mention tolbert. Your going to take these 3 high payed proven products off the field because u want a slower option to take over on third down? And him taking option carries is laughable. As for klien, did you forget about Blackburn we signed him just to come in and play those roles. So at best he's behind him. That guard a day one starter is a joke.

Barner is the fastest RB on the team and I don't think it's even close. He's a better option player then Dwill or Stewart as well. So none of that is laughable at all. Blackburn is the backup at MLB, but Klein is the young guy and would be the primary backup at either SLB or both OLB spots to say the least. He'll also play ST's and having a good ST can get you an extra win or two each season.

The guard being a day one starter isn't a joke at all. I'm not the only one saying it either, the team wouldn't have drafted him there if they didn't think he could come in and at least push Hangman for the starting RG spot.

What's really laughable here is your lack of knowledge about these prospects considering your knocking them. You should at least know something about them first..

In this NFL with the devaluation of the RB position? Yes.

He is faster. It's not an opinion, it's a fact. Should I post their fastest 40 times?

To get back to the threads main purpose. We would have gone with Eifert at 14 which would have been a great offensive pick up. With that said. Our team got marketably better with this draft so quit crying we didn't end up with a slow/small/raw/injury prone wr that would barely see the field anyways. Geez
