Oh right, except you an apply the same logic to every position of need we had and come up with the conclusion we wasted a pick on positions we have already stacked. I mean I guess if everyone fails, and for some reason we don't participate in the following years offseason signings and draft, then yeah maybe this signing would be logical.

Who is our scat back that is already on the roster?

Actually, it looks like we could SAVE 3.4 million by cutting DWill at June 1st. Could use this money for several things

Like a vet CB/S cut in camp when a team decides to go young

Does it matter if we still have an OLine on skates, and a secondary that doesn't let the defense get off the field?

I think with Cam Newton basically going to lead this team in rushing from here on out there really is no need to invest in high priced RBs and soon Stewart and Dwill can be expendable

I think there is very little chance Cam leads the team in rushing. We are going to see less read option than we did in the first two seasons.

This is the type of guy meant to be in our offense imo.

What we've desperately been trying to do with Stewart and Tolbert will be natural with Barner.

D'lo is the odd man out imo. June cut, free up some room, grab the best FA we can find to make the final patches.

      The examples are so many it is pathetic. These are professionals. There is zero reason laypeople or amateur draftniks should be better than our FO. Unless you are a Millen-esque GM. Somehow we have had several. Maybe Mike Mayock is a good recent comp? One good draft out of three and basically just a TV guy.
