To reiterate what Gettleman said...

Alot of answers to these "holes" you see are already on the roster, maybe why you aren't seeing the WR/S help. Plus there is also UDFA we will pick up and remember that was cruz was, colston almost was. You guys have faith when we are in the superbowl and all these guys are contributing you will understand. Are TD & Beason that reliable? Don't we need Oline backups/starters? It starts up front, can't get all we need with 5 picks. Now if we had 10/11 like some others we would be getting more but right now we just can't afford it.

Every player we have drafted is a good player and will help our team tremendously. AJ Klein can play OLB very well and that is something we need when we don't know what we will get from beason and TD. He can play around almost as well as Luke and is a very hard hitter. Him next to Luke for a long time will be awesome to watch. Obviously our DT is set for a long time now. And that guard is a beast that needs some coaching but has pro bowl potential. I'm very happy with this draft so far.

I feel like we did well... Not sexy, but necesary.

Don't forget that we also seem to have a knack every yer to find that feel good UDFA O-linemen that comes in and contributes right away.

I'd expect some Safeties from smaller schools to come in and compete at all DB positions.

Biggest need IMO is O-Line depth right now.

The one pick that will tell us something is Kugbila on the offensive end. Our D is going to be nasty even with Campbell/Godfrey at SS/FS.

Grabbing this Kugbila over a lot of big school OT and OG talent tells something about what Gettleman and our scouts saw in him. I trust them so am hoping he can work out. I just do not want to see Hangartner starting next season and if we don't pick up a FA, this is the guy they're going to rely on. Our offensive guards are not good and it's worrisome.

If we don't pick up a FA OG, that'll make me nervous but I'm excited as hell about this defense.

    • been living in town since March of last year after spending 15+ years out on a farm in the middle of nowhere.  Snow was beautiful out there, but always meant a lot of work dealing with the long driveway and long dirt road out and onto paved roads that were the last in the county to get plowed. On normal days it always took 20 minutes to get anywhere. when it snowed...yeah. forget about it for a couple days. still had to go to work, so i'd have to drive on all these narrow and windy snow covered backroads after dealing with my driveway and putting up with the nasty red mud slush on the dirt road. if there was an emergency or some kind of urgent issue that required you having someone drive in or going out, it was just a major stressor.  anyways, i'm just looking forward to snow in the new house in town, where my driveway is really short and the roads are plowed. i want snow that requires no work or stress on me. most people probably love the idea of being snowed in out in the country. been there. done that. i'm looking forward to snow coming in town and being able to get out and about if i need. hopefully we have some this year.
    • I don't think it will be a complete stomping at all. That's not really the 2024 KC team. They have only scored 30 points once this season(shootout versus TB) and their biggest margin of victory has been 13(vs. the Saints). I guess they clearly show better versus the NFC South but not THAT good. Not by their recent years standard.
