Manuel isnt Cam. Hes more Culpepper and McNabb

There can never be another Cam. But, the trend right now is teams trying to hit the Cam jackpot. Like the 9ers with Kaepernick, Bills with manuel, etc. Those other teams are doing a better job at putting pieces around their guys.

Look on the bright side. Atlanta, TB, and NO did nothing to improve their offenses also. They actually got worse.

Atl got better at least for 2013. Jackson > Turner. They are the team to beat.

Gettlemen still has time to address some other things. At a minimum he needs at least a solid vet G and 1 secondary player IMO

I blame that on Chud and Rivera for the lack of utilizing the run game

the RBs couldn't run....so why run them more?

You can only watch Williams do nothing so many times in a game. No holes bc the Gs were a train wreck.

Talent issue that imploded and made most of what they attempted inconsistent on offense.

Did you forget how many times they were handed the ball off the delayed option, direct snap or any of those bologna formations that Chud was throwing out there? They were set up for failure 50% of the time and this was discussed ad nauseam during the year.

Hangman was terrible but so was our playcalling

No we're not.

We added depth at Guard with Kugbila. Hes a project but I think hes going to be good.

We added Hixon and Ginn to a already full receiving group.

And added Barner in the draft.

How are we neglecting offense?

If yall just open your eyes, yall will see that we're not.

Amen, brother. We improved the offense and ST before the draft started. Just because we didn't draft the WR that some of these knob-gobblers wanted, we "ignored the offense".

Aging TE, did nothing to add depth behind TonyG. Jackson is also aging and injury proned. They also loss a highly talented OT in Clabo. How is that better?

NO did absolutely nothing to improve their offense.

TB similar to NO did nothing.

Defensive wise, TB got better in the secondary, but NO and Atl both got worse overall. NO did nothing to prepare them for a 34 D.

Atlanta drafted two corners, but they are rookies. Id rather play Trufant and Alford than Grimes and Dunta. They also loss Abraham for Osi. No improvement.

We did the most we can. Just be happy about it and quit whining.

Hell yes you have 2 downhill RB's taking handoffs from a dead stop. How is that suppose to work out? Greg Cosell wrote a article on how no team has came into a season without a base power set running offense. Like the panthers did last year.

And when we lined up under C....the RBs still had no holes.

Didn't matter how we tried to run...OL play was so inconsistent it too often went nowhere.

Amini and Piggy were terrible. You can't run with two awful guards. Our offense isn't about running outside the tackles.

Williams' 2 worst games of the season where Tampa and Oak. Both examples of running him completely different.

Steven Jackson is still a beast....and much better than what Turner became. He is coming off 8 consecutive 1000 yard season with everyone knowing what was coming. He isn't a long term upgrade....but for 2013 he is a pretty damn good one for Atl. Teams can't load up to stop him for the first time....ever. THAT will be an issue for the NFCS

We would want a statue for Steven Jackson made of gold and diamonds if he had done that here
