This whole draft, outside the 1st round pick, has me confused and pissed a bit. I mean, I know I've wanted some offensive weapons from this draft, but I would've even settled for a S with that second round pick. This was a great draft for S, and we come out with nobody.

So, not only do we not get Cam a playmaker in here, but we don't even get another competition piece for that abysmal secondary we have. Good LB depth addition, though, I suppose.

We got Hardy in the 6th (last time i checked he is a starter)

And Capt in the 7th....

We'd have a starter if we picked Rambo.

you named 2 people in the past decade. like i said, the ODDS of it happening are slim, but it still happens. I mean poo, alfred morris was a 6th rounder last year and he went off. The chances of finding that guy in the later rounds to start for you right out of college aren't very high though.

Gettleman believes that if you stack the lines the rest of the players get better.

It's a theory that will be tested next year

People are forgetting that some good players are still on the board. This draft was always deeper in developed "role players," and slim on starter talent. This is why developmental starters that no one has heard of are going off the board right now. They have higher upside than the known quantities.

It's a theory/approach that's worked out numerous times over the past decade, including Carolina in 2003.

It is amazing to me that people would complain when we have two linebacker that are struggling with injuries plus no depth and we were able to draft possibly the best linebacker in the Big 12 the last 2 season in the 5th round.

Yeah i know. At the same time you can't just say I'm going to keep throwing fatties at our lines until we win a Superbowl. It's more complex obviously.

But i agree with 2003 Panthers for sure

We currently have a broken arm that is called our secondary. Currently we're down at Rite aid shopping for a cast. There's a lot of arm casts there but we're buying a cast for our leg just because it's higher quality. Sounds like a winning plan to me.

We're buying a leg cast because we have a broken leg. McClain and Fua stink and it's pretty clear that Gettleman has quickly reached the same conclusion. We have two linebackers who've spent half their careers in street clothes and no depth at the position. I hope we're done drafting guys with physical talent who can't learn a playbook.

.just like every team passed on Brady and Cruz, that tv from the Broncos, hardy, Jake delhomme, lol and massive list of other players thatade huge impacts.

Given that every team keeps passing on them should tell all if us that there is something majorly wrong with them
