Boast about your secretive highly educated draft wise plan of going by your board. Then getting to the later rounds, panicking, and hoping late round draft picks can come in and start for you.

There's nothing implying or indicating this was a panic pick. If it were a panic pick, it'd have been someone like B. Jones or one of those other OGs that were "rated higher". If anything this pick screams "I know who I like and internet scouts and talking hairdos be damned. I'm taking the guy I think will be the better NFL player".
