You know the great thing about life?

No matter how much people say something cant be done you can still do it. If you succeed then you know you accomplished something great, if you fail, well you where willing to do something no one else had the balls to do.

its easy to sit on the sideline of life and wait for everyone else to take the first step.

Thats not me. I only live once. I would rather fail trying than not try at all.

When I teach high school, I hope one of my student's parents will take the initiative to make and hang banners all over my classroom reminding us that our school had the lowest percentage of passing scores on the US History exam of any school in the entire state. I'm sure myself and my students will greatly appreciate that.

This is a nice thought, but a bad idea. Positive thoughts build confidence. We all know as fans what went wrong that game. I suggest we move foward and forget about the Arizona game.

I hope that our players have there minds on the present task at hand and are not thinking about a game that happened last year.

AK , you can do whatever you want because I think you are a true Panther fan , but this is not a good idea.

No Kurb you don't get it. Coaches can't motivate players to do better. Only batpoo crazy fans with giant, obnoxious banners that serve only to irritate those same players can motivate them.

Exactly. We need fans that exhibit just the right amount of enthusiasm, threading the needle between offending some while exhibiting the appropriate amount of support to others.

The wine and cheese crowd are too sedate while clearly those who want to make a banner ( the horror) that is clearly meant to motivate ( which must be a first for a sports team) is obviously beyond the pale. Your sensibilities are quite correctly offended.

And, while we are at it, worrying about the level of a fan's intensity is clearly more important than worrying about whether the fans give a fug at all.

I actually think there should be some kind of "Exuberance" police to keep these wild crazy fellows like AK under control. All banners could be submitted to an NFL sponsored clearing house for just such a situation as this. That way...no one would have to be offended and the player or the organization would not have their feelings hurt.

:cheers2:

Well, last year many people including myself thought AK was crazy for coming up with the logo on the 25 yard line idea. So hell, I am not going to criticize him for doing stuff like this. I think it's a cool concept and if it works, I think it could affect the team.

sounds like your school needs a banner- at least then the teachers will be reminded that they need a different job...
