"Remember Arizona" Banner for Training Camp...

I love the idea. If that game hurt the players like it did me and I'm guessing most of you guys too, then remembering that game will push them even harder every day.

Remembering the taste of defeat back in high school got me pretty jacked for the next games. Hope it works for them too.

we can get whoever does the banners to take the cash through paypal, and then the volunteers to work together on the getting it there and hand offs!

Doesn't sound like a good idea to me. Coach Fox and the team already have a bad taste in there mouth from the ARZ. Having the banner around all TC would probably piss them off, Delhomme especially.

I think it could be appropriate, maybe on the last day of TC or maybe just before the start of the season or the first playoff game if we make it to the post season.

Why does the team as a whole need to remember Arizona? The secondary, Julius Peppers, and Jake are the only ones that played poorly that game, mainly Jake of course. Do we really want Jake to go around remembering Arizona? What motivation is this banner going to have for, let's say, Thomas Davis who played just fine? Or how about the rookies who weren't around?

Dumb banner. Try another one.

ok- thanks for your opinions.

Now-

If your in, then PM me, if not, then thanks for your observation.

This is not something that everyone will buy off on, its not expected to be.

But considering the COACH himself used this as a motivator, it could go a long way.

I am not so sure Fox is using it as a rallying cry for the year so much as acknowledging it so the team could learn from it and move on, and so it didn't look like he was sweeping it under the rug. I can see players being motivated from that loss; however, I think it's a fine line on how that is used. I tend to lean more towards what R & R said.
