"Remember Arizona" Banner for Training Camp...

The Panthers staff will ask you to take it down right away.

better idea is to get fans to wear shirts that say that.

Possibly --

But Its a bad idea considering its the coaches words and the media will be there.

Why would the Panthers want to be seen as assholes to the fans when the media LOVES stuff like that.

I will take my chances.

And I will make sure the media KNOWS the banner will be there.

I can see the headline now;

"Coaches own words not good enough"

According to what we seen today at training camp, even John Fox doesnt like what he has to say. Today Panther Fans raised a banner echoing the coaches own pre-camp words of "Remember Arizona". A banner that had that phrase on it along with "the road to Super Bowl 44 start here!" was taken down by officials during the practice. The banner also carried the signatures of hundreds of fans in attendance who showed their support.......ect...ect.....ect....

I doubt they want this type of media response....

see the thing is -- you dont have that RIGHT--

The constitution doesnt protect your FEELINGS and Im sorry that your offended about something the coach said. So Unless you go pry it down yourself (which would be assault because I got someone who is about 6'4 230 and he doesnt like lil assholes like you) then you will have to see it hang....

Prying down a banner isnt assault - your 6'4 guy roughing up lil assholes is though. Maybe ill bring a banner and put it after yours that will look like this:

"REMEMBER ARIZONA" "HAS NICE WEATHER"

or

"REMEMBER ARIZONA" "WHERE JULIUS PEPPERS SPENT THE OFF-SEASON"

You have mentioned media attention several times now AK - why is it that you have decided that your life is defined by your meaningless and egregiously misdirected Panther obsessions? The 50 yard line was a failure and an insult to the owner -so this will be. We have some lame reporters and media in Charlotte and surrounding areas and you think that filling their weekly quota makes a difference?

I see a lot of people on this board that are obsessed with the Panthers but you seem to be the only one who begs for the spot light. What inadequacy are you hiding?

Please dont every off season try for a "monumental" inspirational move - they dont happen by force - they happen naturally. Dont try so hard. If it will ever come it wont happen by bulling a move. If you put this much effort in in real life you should be a millionaire by now. I cant wait for a good idea to come for you. You can only have so many bad ones!

I can see the headline now;

"Distracting fan tries to replicate coaches words"

Aug 3rd 2009

Scott Fowler

Today a single Panther Fan tryed to raise a banner echoing the coaches own pre-camp words of "Remember Arizona". A banner that had that phrase on it along with "the road to Super Bowl 44 starts here!" was taken down by officials during the practice. The banner also carried the signatures of the very few fans who actually supported the idea. It has been said by team officials that they saw the banner as unnecessary and didn't want it to be a distraction during camp.

Fixed it for ya

Let's recap for those that just showed up...

1) AK posts a story from the observer and says we should make t-shirts saying "remember Arizona" for the team.

2) The overwhelming response is against it.

3) AK ignores everyone and posts a thread saying we should now make a banner.

4) People line up in droves to tell him what a bad idea it is.

5) AK ignores all that, continues on ahead trying to get support to get his banner done.

6) Even the person who originally suggested a banner rather than t-shirts starts to realize this probably isn't the best idea.

7) AK ignores that too, continues on ahead anyway.

8) Several people offer different and better ideas.

9) AK ignores all them, continues on ahead with his original idea.

10) People mention several times that it will get taken down immediately.

11) AK ignores that and continues to look for someone that can take the banner to TC.

I think that about sums it up.
