Could be the homer in him, but, Mayock has never struck me as that type of guy and he says Zeke Motta could be a huge steal for whatever team takes him. Also, I have a feeling that our habit of drafting players we haven't met with under Hurney is no longer in practice under Gettleman.

He has a major red flag character-wise. He might not even be on our board anymore.

I'm just saying, we don't draft for need anymore. Not necessarily anyway. We look for value.

This is the 4th round.....

Minor red flags will not stop a team that needs a WR from drafting a guy as talented as Rodgers that late in the draft.

Every team drafts for need in some fashion (bpa / draft boards are shaped by needs)

If we had the best NT in the NFL we would not have drafted Star at 14.

I can tell you right now, we will not draft okafur in the 4th round with the talent that will be on the board at positions of need.

You don't get kicked off of a college football team for a "minor" red flag. Period.

And we will see how the picks play out. But I don't think I'm wrong on this.

The more I read about who's still available and the more I think about it the more I think B. Jones should and will be our pick if he's there with our 4th. Could very likely come in and start at RG for us immediately, plus he's a natural C in case Kalil gets injured again. He almost makes too much sense to entertain other options. As much as I love Rambo as a football player, with it looking like Godfrey is our FS taking Jones seems like the right decision.
