Commented on it elsewhere, talking about the picks the Vikings gave up.

Didn't like that either, but as others have pointed out, the Patriots could be chided for that too.

The Pats haven't really drafted as well as their media reputation would lead you to think. They've definitely had some hits (Gronkowski, for example) but the whole "trade down " thing has gotten to the point where I think it's the Pats believing their own press.

Belichick really seems to believe he's so smart that he can find players in later rounds that he can turn into Pro Bowl level starters. Thus, they trade down with an eye toward doing just that. Occasionally it works, but for some of their drafts, it's backfired.

Starting to wonder if Belichick has a god complex.

I'm cautiously optimistic about the Charger draft thus far.

Fluker's getting 1st shot at RT. McCoys giving Clary a shot at RG. I imagine our Gs will be 2 of him, Rinehart, Troutman, and Molk. If Clary fails at G he just might get cut and save 2M.

Manti should be starter on day 1. He'll I'd prefer Lennay Kekua starting over Mouton.

Allen in the 3rd definitely puts Meacham and Royal on notice. As it stands I'd say Floyd/DA starting, Brown, Allen, Meach, Royal on roster.

As for LT, we may revisit McKinnie, although I wish we had the space to see if JAX might want to get something for Monroe.
