I hated the Floyd hype machine, I think he might be solid, but even if he was available at #44 I would have preferred Short (or Hankins) over him. Maybe even Brandon Williams or Jessie Williams too.

I don't buy the whole "media creation" thing. He slid because elite OL got pushed up, and probably because some teams were worried about his shorter arms. The kid can play though.

In my opinion, there is not much drop off from Floyd and Star. The only difference is theyre different players but the talent is there with Floyd as it is with Star.

He didn't dropp bc of the media hype. He dropped bc like how you say there was a big run for OLINE very early in the draft. If we're calling Floyd a media creation, should we say the same thing about Star (excluding his heart condition)? Bc why would a man that great fall to 14 right?

Some of these people that are saying Floyd is a media creation are the very same people that 2months ago thought he was the best DT in the draft. Now, that he isn't a Panther they want to make up excuses. If we had gotten Star and Floyd at 44 instead of Short, imagine this forum. Everyone would be calling a SB run!!!

(3) Sheldon

(4) Short / Sly
