(REPORT) Panthers eyeing WR Bailey or CB Wilson in the 2nd

Recommended Posts

Te'o is like one of the highest ranked players according to NFL.com.

You guys are really underrating him in this thread or clearly have never seen him play and just look at measurables (which wouldn't surprise me since a lot of you all seem to like Mingo).

1. Bailey is faster than his 40 time, and his 40 time isn't even that bad (4.52, which is nearly what Greg Jennings ran; both of similar stature too)

2. I don't truly believe he is the 10th wide receiver in this draft. He's been criminally underrated throughout the process.

Bailey plays bigger than his size, very good route runner with extremely reliable hands. He's not my #1 option in the 2nd but some of you are underrating him a tad.

I wasn't looking at his measureables. I was merely commenting on the fact that he is the 10th rated WR and to go in the 2nd round - that is high or reaching a tad bit, especially when you have Keenan Allen (86.3), Quinton Patton (83.8), Terrance Williams (83.6), Robert Woods (83.1), Markus Wheaton (81.8) and Justin Hunter (81.8) graded ahead of Bailey (79.0).

There's no question he has the talent. What i'm getting at is that #44 is a tad too high to be the #10 ranked WR. Given Gettleman's BPA philosphy, I doubt that Stedman would go at that spot anyway.

He might be the highest rated WR on Gettlemans board though.

And he just might be. But the fact is, none of us know what his board looks like. All I can go off of is what's currently out there.

I like a lot of the receivers ahead of him but wouldn't be the end of the world if we got him. I actually like his upside and reminds me a lot of #89. My only thing is where he goes (#44) but since we don't have a 3rd I guess if he goes #44, it shall be.
