Any Good Reason Why We SHOULDN'T Take Jonathan Cyprien

Honey Badger cannot make plays while serving a Goddell suspension....He proved with his draft party after blowing off workouts that he just does not get it. When he gets the cash he most likely go insane!!!

He has not even been clean for a year...his agent must have lost his mind when the Instagram draft party invite happened. Has to be why Honey Badger cancelled it at the last second.

People think and have posted that they even wanted us to take cyprien in the first but honey badger is .....not worth a second rounder.....same was said for janoris jenkins last year....laughable at best. I have been looking for cyprien film that will show me how he is a steal in the 2nd but I have yet to find it....

Huddle, please enlighten me.

I think the report about badger having his agent take his car from him every night shows that badger doesn't even trust himself.

He knows he's gonna screw up. And if the teams believe that he belives that....what even take him with a 4th?

Agree and disagree.

Janoris Jenkins' coverage skills are VASTLY greater than Honey Badger's. In fact, Honey Badger is not very good in coverage. He is just a very opportunistic player than can make hard hits to jar the ball loose. He is a Nickel back in the NFL, and not a very good one IMO.

As for Cyprien, I agree. I haven't been impressed with him. I don't see anything that tells me he will be an above average Safety in the NFL.

lol Janoris was one of the better cover corners to come out in years. Mattheiu was a marginal CB on a strong LSU defense.

"YOU JUST DONT GET IT GROWL! HIS NICKNAME IS HONEY BADGER AND PEOPLE SAY HE DOESN'T CARE FOR MOST THINGS AND ITS ALL COOL AND STUFF!! I MEAN SERIOUSLY WHAT ABOUT THAT DO YOU NOT GET?!"

To be fair, I wish to make it clear that taking honey badgers off the field shenanigans into account, taking him in the fourth would be risky, but saying he isnt or doesnt have the on field talent or potential if his head wasn't screwed on backwards....is laughable to me....but yeah, coverage skills are munnerlynesque but the ball skills would have made him a better bet than ol man cyprien in an alternate universe in which he had never been head over heels in love with his bong.

With that being said as well, im in the dj swearinger camp right now. Everything ive seen, which I admit is through amateur eyes and I dont believe I know it all,.....go watch highlights of both and tell me honestly that cyprien is more exciting. Swearingers nickname is jungle boi, ive read.....at least he has that going for him lol

IMO if there was no off field issues Honey Badger would have been a top 15 pick. He is basically a Steve Smith intensity style player. You want value, getting him at 44 would be VALUE and a very high position of need for this team. He played top competition in the SEC. I like his nastiness, I like his attitude and I have seen guys get the off field support they need and succeed (Dez Bryant, Janoris Jenkins, Burfict)

While I follow what you are saying, to the contrary, I really dont see anything in cyprien that tells me hes better than swearinger....with that being said I hope we get either because geno smith would be an improvement at this point over nakamura.....amirite

Can someone please tell me why Cyprien is worth a 2nd rounder. I have watched film on him and i just don't see it. He overruns plays, misses tackles vs weak competition, average ball skills and instincts. take away his big hit ability (most of his big hits would have been fined in the nfl) and he is an abover average safety
