ROY For 3rd Year Straight?

Star Lotulelei has to be the front runner for Defensive Rookie of the Year. I'm hoping the guy has a chip on his shoulder as well for falling from the top of the draft. I'm just stunned, prolly as much as a lot of Panther fans. I am so excited about what this defensive front seven can do, its scary! Josh Thomas and D.J. Campbell showed me enough in the final few games, to go into training camp as potential starters.

I know for the past two years it has looked as we have turned a corner with our season ending pushes, but I believe this is a year we will finally live up to the hype, us Panther fans expect.

I'm ranting, blame it on the Sailor Jerry (Good Shizz). Along with the excitement of the Luke Star!!!

Let's Go Panthers!!!!!! As always the future is getting Brighter!!!!!!

P.S. Sorry I irate you Zod, nothing but love to Panther Fans!!!!

It's been 19 years since a defensive tackle won the award, so history says it's a long shot.

Suh won it back in 2010.

That being said it's still going to be hard for Star, though I still expect him to make a push for it.

I never thought about the last time a DT won the award. that is awhile.

Who won it the year Suh came into the league? moving to google......

Maybe he should play an NFL game first? But I like your enthusiasm.

Of course you like my enthusiasm, we all nutted over this pick.

my bet is on Ansah. But there is still Dion Jordon, and several good CBs, and safeties. I do think overall Star is the best defensive player in this draft. And I have been thinking that for months. It's hard for a DT to win it. He will have to be completely dominant but I think he is capable.

Ansah is going to take time if he even gets it going in the NFL. And Jordan only played half the defensive snaps in college. Not sure he can be an every down player, its something he will need to prove.
