All signs point to Keenan Allen being there in the 2nd. A no brainer for us?

Well, I was right about him slipping down the board (though I honestly expected him to go in the 4th or so), but early indications look like I might have been wrong in terms of how he would fair as an NFL WR.  Dude looked legit last night and a nice redzone target.

Oh well.  Won't be the first time I've ever been wrong about a prospect (I was ecstatic about the Joe Adams and Josh Norman picks) and it certainly won't be the last.

If it makes you feel any better I thought Luke Keuchly was overrated coming out and wasn't too thrilled we drafted him. I argued with CRA and P55 pretty much constantly that we had bigger needs than LB with Beason coming back.

:)

It makes the draft fun.  Would be boring if you were always right.

I was one of the ones going hard for Allen until he hurt his knee and had surgery. Completely set him back and put him in ? status. I was pissed he dropped and we had the chance to draft him and STILL didn't. I didn't agree with drafting 2 DT's and I still dont agree with it. The decision to skip Allen but yet keep A.E on the team is depressing. Im still pissed at not having a 1st round pick to draft Demaryius Thomas

I think we're cursed

It's all still a crap shoot. No one here or anywhere else has been 100 percent right about NFL prospects. So, it's your turn to puff out your chest. It still isn't helping anything now.

"Puff out my chest"?  Are you really that dense?  I bumped this thread to point out that I was wrong.

Obviously I didn't read your post, because it's really useless. Just tired of the B.S., and in a surly mood in general about the team, solutions, and Monday morning QBs. But, my bad.

    • I am not at all interested in even thinking about a WR or TE. Let's see how the combine goes. He would need a lot more than that film to impress me. For a guy who watches zero CFB I wasn't that impressed. Good hands but nothing screams top 10 pick with him to me. He looks solid but nothing more. That's what I want a 2nd round TE to look like, good physicals and hands but lacks meaningful separation.
    • I think Tepper is a terrible owner, but not because he doesn't want to win. He's a terrible owner because he is impatient and doesn't know what the fug he is doing.
