Allen was not 100%, why can't some of you understand that? Hunter may be available but if he is not, Allen is the next best thing.

I dont see Allen being worthy of #44, if we had a 3rd, I'd say that it'd be just about right. What would he bring to the table that we don't already have? We have to make this pick count.....and this ain't Hurneyville no more...lol

I have a feeling Gettleman will have no problem bringing another day 1 surefire starter in with this pick in the 2nd....probably safety, corner or OL, would be my guess at least.

Having added Ginn and Hixon to the proven Lafell and smitty...and the potential of a gettis, pilares, etc...how many 4 wr sets did we run last year anyway? that set of WRs, sadly, if you look around the league, really isn't that bad at all. Jets, Fins, Bills, Zona, Rams, Jags, Titans, TB, ravens, browns, chiefs, chargers, colts, bears, vikings, raiders, lions and skins have a better 1-5?? No, maybe they have a young stud which we need, but frankly, smitty got another year or two left in the tank and WR is one of the positions that I feel comfortable with Gettleman scouting the lesser known guys....really, our WRs are above average at best but it is not a huge need.

With that being said, however, I firmly believe that after this draft, we will be looking for offense in next year's draft....you know, when we are picking #32 ;)

I say grab him if he is there. His 40 time will improve as the muscles in his leg get stronger. He would have gone in the first round if he had never injured his knee.
