Like the article said though, it would allow the Panther's to run a more effective 2 TE formation. Which I expect we'll see a lot of this season with Shula running the offense.

if the team plans on running two TE sets a bunch then he makes sense if they think he's the BPA, which is possible that they view him as the BPA if Star and Tavon aren't there.

Think about it...we need a big time red zone threat, and he fits the bill. 2 TE sets with Olsen and Eifert would be mismatch central.
