I also read another article that said that scouts thought there were only around 20 first round picks in this draft. 4 of them were receivers and there were NO safeties with first round talent this year. Also thought that was interesting, so going off that i would take Hopkins over Vaccaro.

You could convince me the safetys were that bad, you could not convince me the recievers were that good. A lot of flawed guys.

I think this is true. Everybody links him to us. But everyone who the Giants drafted was a big receiver. Victor Cruz was undrafted I believe, so wouldn't be relative here. I think we are trying to get a NFL ready receiver, not anyone flashy.

Agreed. Hopkins is the only pro ready receiver in the 1st round. Well you can count Keenan Allen and Robert Woods, but both have injury problems. I wouldn't touch either of those guys in the first round.
