The comparisons to Eric Weddle are completely off-base. Weddle has instincts and ball skills that are off the charts. Vaccaro doesn't possess those attributes. I personally don't think that Rivera wants a safety that plays like a big corner.

I believe Eric Weddle single covered Calvin Johnson in the Emerald Bowl. There are not many defensive backs ever that have that kind of resume.
