Not really, we either get Star or we don't. Outside of one of the big three OTS falling there's nothing that could be comparable to getting Star so I'm not going to worry about a heart condition he was fully cleared on....

I somewhat agree but my concern is with the heart condition. Yes, I know he was "cleared" but where there is smoke there is fire, when he was first diagnosed, it had to be for a reason. A Dr just doesnt say your heart is only 40% functional for no reason and out pf the blue. Combine that with the fact his stock has dropped faster in the last 24 hours than Lehman Brothers, yes I am somewhat concerned.

I'm not really concerned about the heart. We have just done so well with our first picks the last two years I want the streak to continue. DTs scare me in the 1st.

Yea there is definately a leak. Someone somewhere heard from numerous teams in the top 13 that Star is off their draft board and that the Panthers will pounce on him. This is very very similar to the mocks all changing in 2011 to us drafting Cam when it became clear he was our guy. It was a big sea change in the mocks like we are seeing with Star right now

You're dead on, this is the exact thing that happened when everyone realized we were taking Cam. The only difference is that we had the #1 overall pick then.

How in the world could they predict the picks of 13 other teams?

I think Star is one of the safer players in this Draft honestly despite his position. The guy has every tool necessary to be a dominate Nose Tackle....

That's cool, as I've said before he is the only DT I would want to take the chance on. All the Sheldon Richardson talk really had me nervous. I never expected Star to be available anyways.

I would take Floyd at 14 also even though UT isn't a huge NEED, but I'm all about drafting BPA. He would be by far the BPA at 14 (have him at 6)....

Plus the same thing happen to Frank Alexander last year and he was fine and was a steal for us.

You believe in Floyd? Even with all the backlash to the media hype machine that has pushed Floyd all the up int the top 5? One or more of these top DTs are gonna flop. I just hope if we do pick one its the right one.
