Analysis: The Panthers were simply bad as a run defense in 2012, and that's even after they drafted Luke Kuechly to hold down the middle. Well, your run defense isn't going to get better just because you get consistent tackling at linebacker. Lotulelei can occupy blocks given his initial burst and his ability to read, identify and make tackles against the run himself. The Panthers need to come out of this draft with some help for the interior of their D-line.

It should be noted that he has Sheldon Richardson going #10 to the Titans.

Ok somethng is up. First Joe Person says "Panthers like Star at 14 a lot." Then the story I posted a little bit ago that said "Panthers will not take a DT unless its Star." Now suddenly nearly every single draft expert has us taking Star. I just dont see how all these experts can suddenly switch on the fly from sheldon richardson to now "oh nevermind, Star to the Panthers." I think A. The draft experts heard from team sources that they wont draft Star in the top 13 and B. Panthers sources saying they love Star

Yea there is definately a leak. Someone somewhere heard from numerous teams in the top 13 that Star is off their draft board and that the Panthers will pounce on him. This is very very similar to the mocks all changing in 2011 to us drafting Cam when it became clear he was our guy. It was a big sea change in the mocks like we are seeing with Star right now

24 hrs from now it will all be over, and we'll have someone and everyone will be likely be pissed it wasn't their guy. I will never understand it, but it will happen.
