MAYOCK'S mock: Disappointing

What? So multiple mock drafts have Star falling past us? Yea, in that case something must have definately leaked about his health the last few days. Something is rotten in denmark if more than one expert suddenly says Star falls past 14 overnight

Yea, that would really suck.

The only year a good DT might be there for us to take, and he comes with a heart condition. We just have no luck at that position.

I posted this in one of the other threads as well.

Once the health scare came up, he started sliding and there was nothing he could do about it. Even with a full checkout that's clean, teams are going to drop him completely off their boards or out of the first round just because of that one scare.

On top of that there's some question marks about his love of football and work ethic because of his technique not improving over the last couple of years, Star just got by on athletic ability and showed no technique improvement.

I think Allen will be in the 2nd.

A guy like Hunter will take his place in the 1st.

Speaking of Hunter, why in the world arent we considering him?! 6'4 and 4.44 speed. Look at Stephen Hill, he was very "raw" but had those same measurables and he was pretty solid. I liked Hopkins but that whole crapping on the floor is just hard to overcome. I know we arent the Raiders.. But if you have a healthy 6'4 WR with 4.44 speed staring you in the face, you draft him

I was wondering the same thing. I mean is he really THAT good that he deserved to be in number 1 overall discussions?! I think people just like his name and think he is a DT with a unusual name like Suh or Ngata and people go ape crap.

With that said, id be stoked to take him at 14

Yea, Ive been thinking that. After that scare, Floyd's stock skyrocketed after the combine.
