Would love to see it happen but the problem is everyone knows we'd take him. With the Jets publicly open to moving down the draft I could see a team like the Vikings or 49ers moving one spot ahead of us and breaking our hearts.

Star could fall. The picks to watch tomorrow night are 3 and 10. If he doesn't get picked at those 2 selections, he will fall to us at 14 unless someone trades up to get him. Oakland is at 3 and they could very well select him. They have a huge hole at DT now, The Tennessee Titans are at 10 and they have a DL need but OL is a bigger need. I think they will take Chance Warmack. San Diego, Miami and the NYJ are at 11, 12 ,13. None of those teams will take him. DT isn't a need for them in the least bit. What could wreck the party is someone trading up.

Yea it'd be dumb to pass up a safety in the 2nd. But this is a deep safety class. I would much rather go WR in the 2nd and hope a McDonald or Jefferson is there in the 4th.
