NFL team executive calls this year's draft "The worst in the last decade"

Its only "good" because the variation is lower because the top talent isn't really "top talent".

no, it's only good because there is a lot of talent in this class, but nothing at the top that really distinuishes itself.

again, you are basing this class being good or not for probably the exact same reason...the lack of upper tier/elite talent at the front of the draft....which we wouldn't be taking anyway because of where we sit.

as a whole thru the first few rounds this class is strong and full of solid players who will be productive starters with their teams. this class just doesn't have those 8 or so elite players people like to see that are head and shoulders above everyone else, although i don't think that the guys at the front are even much below the top talent in other drafts, it's that they just aren't that much better than the rest of the guys coming after them.

i think the thing that many complaining about this draft are having a problem with is that there are no QBs that excite anyone and that usually is the thing that hypes a draft up.

The lack of those elite players make all the difference. The reason they make the difference is because we have all this second round talent going in the first round so they have to be hyped up like they are near-elite when in fact they are not. I agree that the second/third round of this year is deep but thats only because the the "true" second rounders are going in the first round.

no.

the quality of talent past the top 10 picks are going exactly where they should be, and the talent in the 2nd and third will be going later than they would be in most years.

prove me wrong.

uhh look at the top 5 people at every position... there, proven wrong. Do you watch college football? If you do you would realize there has been an overall drop in talent the last few years[thats why there has been more parity than ever]. The SEC is shitty compared to 5-6 years ago. I dont know any other evidence to give you other than breaking down every persons game film.

lol ok.

not continuing this conversation any further because you are working from that poor a position.

if you want to break down every person's game film, tho, have at it.

in fact do it to prove me wrong and you right. i would love to see it.

How is that position wrong? If you watch college football religiously then you would have the same conclusion.

And i dont need to prove you wrong, ill just let you sit in ignorant bliss from football knowledge.

I somewhat agree. There aren't many great top end prospects but it's way to early to say whether or not it's the worst draft in the past decade.

As prospects this may be true but these guys have to play first to know if them being bad will reign true or not.
