The Forgotten DE

Delhommey

Recommended Posts

I saw that earlier from a tweet by a writer and was going to post it, and of course, I remembered our discussions about FSU d-lineman of years past Delhommey.

What really blew me away was, IIRC, the caption with the video says that workout is 130-some days after ACL surgery. That is amazing. Looks really strong, stout, and good explosiveness at the point of attack in my amateur opinion. If we could get him in one of the middle-rounds, could be an awesome foursome of CJ, Hardy, Alexander, and Carradine... BUT, that's not happening as he apparently is being targeted early despite the knee injury.

For what it's worth:

Reedy reports there were representatives from 11 teams at the workout, which took place in Cincinnati, Carradine's hometown. The Atlanta Falcons, Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns, Denver Broncos, Detroit Lions, Indianapolis Colts, Kansas City Chiefs, Minnesota Vikings, New England Patriots, New Orleans Saints and San Francisco 49ers were represented. The clubs represented make up an interesting mix of traditional 4-3 and 3-4 defensive-oriented clubs. It is a reflection of Carradine's talent and versatility. - Rob Rang, NFLDraftScout.com
