Deangelo as draft bait?

What Hurney did to us should involve some time in prison.

95% of the Huddle celebrated all those moves/deals...

Guys like me who said you had to pick 1 RB and let the other walk...were generally bashed as "haters" who didn't "get it".

Technically keeping a lot of the players hurney kept wasn't a bad idea. It is just the fact he payed them all around twice their market value with tons of guaranteed money that screwed us.

I am one who thinks the $$ on offense needs to go to the OL and QB. No second contract for any RB not named Peterson.

Does it make any sense for Gettleman to bundle Deangelo with our first round pick to move back and pick up an extra pick later in the draft? Or just outright trade him for a pick? I know he is a cap hit even if we were to get rid of him, but RR doesnt seem too fond of him, and Tyrone Poole should be back and looked pretty studly the little we saw of him last year.

I have to believe that gettleman with his 25 years thinking about what he would do as a gm has some moves up his sleeve.

We haven't seen Tyrone Poole in 15 years.

100 post count where are you?

Trade DeAngelo to Green Bay for a 4th. Trade back with San Francisco for 31 and 34. Draft Bernard with either 2nd or 3rd round pick. Who would be mad at that?

Do that and we lose cap space....

We need cap space...to sign some more scrubs, sign our rookies AND for emergencies (example would be someone like Smitty going down in camp).
